What eventually grew to become the My Script My Voice team, our first initiative "My Script, My Voice" was a community-based, arts-informed research initiative that set out to connect with Asian youth during the COVID-19 pandemic. This three-part series explored Asian youth experiences of anti-Asian racism (AAR), as well as the impact of AAR and the capacity for youth to address AAR in various settings such as school, home, and other communities.

 

This series eventually became the namesake of the research hub that houses all of Dr. Lin Fang's anti-Asian racism research efforts. The findings inspired the rest of the initiatives that you can learn about on this website, including Project APPA, The Invisibilized Canadians, and our pilot study with Asian parents.​
